I am so proud to be a member of the Death Doula Network International. I found the network shortly after Covid started and it was truly a god send for me.
Through amazing workshops, monthly Dishing with the Doula calls and one on one talks with the founders Karen Hendrickson of Take the Journey and Joanne Haun of End of Life Alternatives . I have gained so much. The support and wonderful programs that they offer are second to none. I love every bit of it.
I have taken the opportunity to coach with Karen too. I believe it has brought be so much further along in my business as a Death Doula.
The other benefits of being a member or joining in on workshops and calls is that you meet the most amazing people all over the world. I have had the great privilege of meeting the best people and I have even done some collaborations with a few. Stay tuned for more on that. Exciting stuff coming up.
There is one more thing that I am very proud of and excited to share with you and that is a little background of the updated logo. Karen and Joanne commissioned me to paint a new logo for them and now they are using it in the new look for the network. I am over the moon with how supportive they have been with my artwork and also to have it showcased now, is so fantastic. I hope you like it too.
If you want to check out the DDNI and possibly become a member, trust me you won't be disappointed. I have attended a lot of the workshops, I love the variety and how much I learn at every session. The website had many resources available. But don't forget, Dishing with the Doulas is free to attend, come meet this wonderful group.
