Well it's here, the first chat between two Death Doulas, myself, Helen Grymaloski of Blueberry Road End Of Life Doula Services a death doula who lives in Northwestern Ontario and Erin Chambers of Before Your Last Breath a Death Doula who lives in Port Hardy on Vancouver Island, BC.
Our first Death Doula Road Trip conversation is on: "What do Death Doulas do?" We hope you will join us on this unconventional virtual road trip as we navigate the highways of life and death, weaving through heartfelt conversations about the ultimate destination. .

Erin and I have been dreaming about sharing these conversations for a while and we decided it was time to just go for it. Like so many things, we can sometimes overthink it and then it never gets out there. This can be said for our planning for life and death too. Our goal is to start these conversations, tweak your interest, maybe get you started on talking to your loved ones about what you feel is important to you and making sure your wishes can be followed when the time comes. We talk about finding that support you need and having it in place before you need it, plus so much more.
This is not all doom and gloom, it's empowering, sad, funny, overwhelming, satisfying and so much more. That's life, until we die.
